Michelle Samaras is an Australian artist and designer based in Newcastle. Through Samaras Studio, she explores form, proportion and surface with a considered, material-led approach.

Working across sculptural objects and design, Samaras combines intuition with material exploration. Her work balances organic movement with structure, allowing texture and natural variation to become part of each piece.

Central to her practice is an intention to create objects with a lasting place in the spaces they inhabit.
